The Dirty Hand Tools 15″ Front Tine Tiller features a Kohler XT675 149cc EPA/CARB approved engine with a belt-drive transmission for powerful and reliable performance. The tilling width of 15″ allows for maximum versatility; ideal for working in larger planting areas, but small enough to till between rows and tight spots. This front tine tiller has one forward speed with a 10″ tilling depth and counter rotating tines so it reaches deep into the ground to turn up soil. Slices, chops, and turns to create finely-milled, fresh, well-aerated soil. Equipped with an adjustable depth regulator that allows you to till deep to prep soil or shallow to eliminate weeds. Featuring a driver-operated safety control lever and side/rear safety shields to prevent injury.
The 6″ diameter treaded wheels help stabilize the tiller when operating on rough terrain and soft soil conditions. Forward-rotating tines perform well in existing flower beds for cultivating, weeding and working in compost or end-of-the-season vegetation. When your work is done, the handlebars fold for easy storage. Additional Specifications: 0.6 quarts engine oil capacity (engine oil not included), 240 rpm tine speed, neutral/forward transmission. Backed by a 2 year limited warranty for added peace of mind.
A great machine for the price. Easy starting.
First my hat is off to the customer service personnel. First class. They replaced the parts right away. The tiller started on the first pull. I had no problems tilling hard clay, after several passes. This is one strong machine. Sure it bucks and bounces, but that is a front tine tiller for you. This is a tiller I would recommend to anyone!
